The plug-n-play gigabit puck is a nearfield wireless communication device
that has a high bandwidth rate of 1 GBit/s full duplex. The puck is
designed for subsea use at a water depth of 300m, but is ideal for other
applications. The puck receives and sends data over two individual
antennas that are point-to-point connected as transmit (TX) and receive
(RX) pairs. It has two connectors for power and ethernet, respectively. The
supply voltage is 9-36VDC, with a power consumption of 5W. See the data
sheet for detailed information on voltage levels and power consumption.
Connector cables are delivered alongside the product in 0.5m length, and
other cable lengths are available upon request.
