The 10" Combined Pull In Head and Pipeline End Termination System was designed by Blue Logic and delivered to Subsea 7 in 2012 to be used on a Riser. The Riser was equipped with standard 10" Grayloc Hub interface .The system comprises a 110T Pad Eye, ROV operated Ball Valve, 2" Full Bore Pressure Balanced Hydraulic Hot Stab Connector System. The PLET System was connected to the Riser by use of standard bolted Clamp Connector System. By using a pressure stab in the receptacle during wet storage, dual barrier to sea was easy and effectively achieved. The Ball Valve can be operated by use of ROV from both sides since riser rotation during installation was difficult to control. The system was designed to be extremely compact and all internal equipment is effectively protected thus making this one of the most compact and flexible solutions available.
