Subsea Communication, SCH, designed to act as a subsea “power strip” for
inductive connectors. The SCH provides additional flexibility by adding 5
off 50W Inductive Connectors for communication and power. Hence
multiple sensors, instruments, cameras and similar can be connected.
Based on an atmospheric canister equipped with 5 off Primary Inductive
Connectors interfaced to a jumper with a single 250W Secondary Inductive
Connector. The 250W connector represents external interface to the subsea
control system. Designed for long-term service, installation and recovery
by standard ROV.
