Blue Logic designed and manufactured a combined Pull-in/Flushing -head for flexible risers. It is based on the well proven valve technology on Blue Logic Valve Stabs. Using Valve Stab technology makes it possible to combine both flushing and pulling abilities into a very compact solution.
The solution can be used in designated J-Tube and I-Tubes, within the design requirements, to provide a safe and time saving operation. When storing riser and Pull in Head a pressure stab can be inserted to achieve double seals to sea. This version is certified for a WLL of 85T.
The purpose of this Pull-In/Flushing Head is multipurpose and can be used for:
1)Riser termination head used to flood the riser by use of a Blue Logic Ø100 Valve Stab.
2)To wet store the Riser
3)To pull the riser through a J-tube or I-tube with a maximum work load of 85T
4)To temporarily hang off the riser in the STL buoy
Both Valve Stab and Pull in Head can be manufactured with different sizes, WLL and interfaces to hose and riser.
