The gearbox is oil filled and pressure compensated using passive,
integrated compensator. All seawater exposed parts fabricated in Super
Duplex and Inconel 725, guide nose section in PEHD1000.

600 endurance cycles using dynamic test jig and electronical torque tool
4000 cycles @ 1800 Nm, 1000 cycles @ 2700 Nm
Stripping and inspection of gearbox, replacement of bearing and gears
exposed to cyclic load testing
Please note after Service Stripping and re-assembly, the Gear Box shall be
FAT tested with signature cycles before delivery.
